CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF
THE 19th BELGRADE MARATHON
Belgrade, 23rd April 2006 – HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II extended
his congratulations to the winners
of the 19th Belgrade Marathon:
Jaffet Kosgei from Kenya who set a
new record, and Halina Karnashevich
from Belorussia.
“I congratulate you on your
victory in the 19th Belgrade
Marathon, one of the most prominent
sport events in our country. I
admire the courage, determination
and fortitude you have shown in this
most difficult athletic discipline.
I hope that Belgrade has been a
good host to you and that you will
visit our country as a dear friends
again soon, I wish you the best of
luck in the future”, said the Crown
Prince in his letter of
congratulations.
The Crown Prince also extended
his congratulations to the winners
of the semi-marathon race: Serbian
runner Ana Subotic and Boris
Mushinsky from Moldavia, who won the
semi-marathon race in Belgrade the
fifth time in the row.
