Prince Alexander emphasized the
importance of this kind of museum:
“The Ethnographic Museum is the
institution of which I am
particularly grateful for its
constant work in preserving the
traditions of our country and for
helping our people not forget our
heritage. With exhibitions like this
one, we are giving a creative
contribution for overcoming the
understanding of traditional as
retrograde. It is a way to create
the possibility for artist to find
inspiration in our rich tradition.
The base of almost forgotten skills
and shapes that are gifts of the
past times create new elements of
our presence for which we are proud
in the future too”, stated the Crown
Prince in his address to the
visitors of exhibition.
The Royal Couple were impressed
with the artwork presented by Mr.
Predrag Tomasevic the author of
exhibition.
