THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES WITH FAMOUS
RUSSIAN PIANIST KISSIN
Belgrade 20th
February 2006 – Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II
and Crown Princess Katherine
attended the concert of the world
famous pianist Mr. Evgeny Kissin in
the Foundation of Ilija M. Kolarac
in Belgrade last night.
The guests of
Their Royal Highnesses Mrs.
Gabriella Bassatne, Mr. and Mrs.
John Leech also attended the concert
of Mr. Kissin, who performed
compositions of Bach and Chopin.
After the
concert, Their Royal Highnesses
Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown
Prince Katherine arranged the dinner
in honour of the world famous piano
player Mr. Evgeny Kissin.
Following the
concert a dinner was held at The
White Palace in honour of Mr. Kissin
and distinguished guests included:
H. E. Mr. Anatoliy Olynyk,
Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia and
Montenegro; Representatives of
Serbian Government H. E. Mr. Dragan
Kojadinovic, Minister of Culture
with his spouse and H. E. Mr. Milan
Parivodic, Minister of International
Economic Relations with his spouse,
representatives of the City of
Belgrade; representatives of
cultural institutions. Guests from
the art, public and business life
also attended the dinner.
HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II addressed to the guests
of The White Palace and expressed
his joy and satisfaction on this
occasion:
“Your concert has
astonished all music lovers, I am
sure. I am glad that I had a chance
to listen to you live. Thank You for
coming to Belgrade, to Serbia, thank
you for this wonderful present you
gave us with this concert”,
emphasised HRH Crown Prince
Alexander in his address to Evgeny
Kissin during the dinner in his
honour.
H. E. Mr. Dragan
Kojadinovic Minister of Culture of
Serbia also thanked the famous
Russian artist:
“We shall
remember this night not only as the
cultural event of the year, but, I
am sure, as an event of this decade.
I hope that you have felt the
welcome of Belgrade and Serbia”,
