PHILIPPINES MUD SLIDE TRAGEDY
18th February 2006 – His Royal
Highness Crown Prince Alexander II
expressed his deepest sympathies to
people of the Philippines, families
of all victims and to H.E. Mr.
Alejandro D. Del Rosario, Ambassador
of the Republic of the Philippines
on the occasion of the great tragedy
in the Philippines.
“It was with great sadness that I
learned about the farming village
Guinsaugon, in the Philippines that
is gone, swallowed whole by a wall
of mud, where people tragically lost
their lives”, wrote HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II in his letter of
condolences.
More than 1.800 people lost their
life in mud slide in the
Philippines.
