His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander attended today a reception in Bayrakli Mosque on 147th anniversary since Muslims received the right to freely practice their religion in the then Principality of Serbia.
Guests were addressed by Muhamed ef. Jusufspahic, Mufti of Serbia and Imam of Belgrade, Adem Zilkic, Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia, Prof. Dr Abdulah Numan, deputy Mufti of Serbia. The reception was hosted by Riaset of the Islamic Community of Serbia with many distinguished guests among who were HE Mrs Maja Gojkovic, Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia, F. Dragan Tanasijevic, personal envoy of the Patriarch of Serbia, Mr Nedeljko Tenjovic, Chief of the Cabinet and representative of the President of Serbia, Mnsg. Stanislav Hocevar Roman Catholic Archbishop and Metropolitan of Belgrade, HE Mr Michael Davenport, Chief of EU Commission Delegation in Serbia, HE Mr Alexander Chepurin, ambassador of the Russian Federation in Serbia, ambassadors of Islamic countries and other members of the diplomatic corps, members of the Islamic Community of Serbia and other distinguished guests.
