Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine and Their Royal Highnesses daughter Alison tonight hosted international cuisine dinner for the representatives of the diplomatic corps at the Royal Palace. On this occasion, traditionally, members of diplomatic missions presented their national cuisine, as well as other practices specific to the regions from which they come.
Delicious specialties, the finest aroma and a lively set tables made the White Palace once again a crossroads of many cultures, traditions, tastes and diversity. Crown Prince Alexander welcomed the guests and added that these events constitute “a journey around the world in miniature”, because through experiencing national dishes and drinks we are getting to know the customs of the country of their origin.
The attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy Serbian folk dances performed by the Cultural Artistic Society Gradimir.
Pasticio and cakes from Cyprus, “Maqlooba” chicken with rice from Palestine, eggplant salad and “Savarin” cakes from Romania are just some of the specialties that adorned the Royal dining room. After eating, coffee always comes in handy, and the guests had the opportunity to taste “Bean and Leaf” espresso, filter and homemade coffee, brewed from the best grains, and Nuzy bakery impressed attendees with their deserts.
