OFFICIAL DINNER IN HONOUR OF
THE PRESIDENT OF ICELAND
Belgrade, 14 December, 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II
and Crown Princess Katherine hosted this evening at the White
Palace an official dinner in honour of the President of Iceland
Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson and Mrs. Grimsson.
Besides Their Royal Highnesses and the daughter of Crown
Princess Katherine, Mrs. Alison Andrews, the following people
also attended the dinner: the chief of cabinet of the President
of Iceland Mr. Ornölfur Thorsson, the Minister of Defence of
Serbia and Montenegro Mr. Prvoslav Davinic and his wife, the
Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Vuk Draskovic and his
wife, the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations Mr. Milan
Parivodic and his wife, the Minister of Culture Mr. Dragan
Kojadinovic and his wife, the representatives of the Economic
Institute Mr. Goran Pitic and Mr. Alexandar Vlahovic, the
Honorary Consul of Iceland and owner of Kontiki tourist
organization, Mr. Slobodan Micic and his wife, the Rector of the
Belgrade University Prof. Dr. Dejan Popović and his wife, the
former Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to the United Kingom
Dr. Vladeta Janković and his wife, thePpresident of the “Ist
Point Company” Mr. Zoran Drakulić, the Reiffheisen Bank Director
Mr Bosko Kostic and his wife, the director of the “Harrison
Solicitors” Mr. Mark Harrison and his wife, Mr. Alexandros
Costopulous, as well as the members of the advisory bodies of
the Crown: Mr. Dragomir Acovic, Mr. Milorad Savicevic with his
wife, Mr. Djordje Djurisic, Mr. Vladimir Gajic and his wife, Mr.
Zoran Trifunovic and his wife and Mr. Dusan Babac.
This was one more opportunity for the hosts and guests to
talk in a friendly atmosphere about the possibilities of
establishing closer co-operation and about a development of
economic relations between our country and Iceland.
The visit of President of Iceland Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson
ends tomorrow.
