CHILDREN OF SERBIAN EMIGRANTS FROM
DENMARK VISITED ROYAL PALACE

Belgrade, 14th April 2006 – Their
Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Princess Katherine
welcomed group of 35 Serbian
children from St. Sava School from
Denmark, that visited Royal Complex
on Dedinje. With this visit they
finished their excursion to Serbia.

In his message to pupils and
their parents Crown Prince Alexander
emphasised that “Karadjordjevic
family has outstanding relations
with HM Queen of Denmark Margareth,
and that our two countries are
having long-lasting friendly
relations”:
„You have to work hard and learn
well, while St. Sava is the founder
of first schools in Serbia. And your
school is named after St. Sava. You
have to be the bridge between our
countries. Our children are the best
ambassadors of Serbia”, stated HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II.
Speaking about the importance of
the visit from Denmark, HRH Crown
Princess Katherine said to the
Serbian pupils from St. Sava school
that Royal Palace is opened for
everybody, and that her husband and
she will continue their efforts in
order to provide better education
and fast and adequate employment for
all the children from Serbia and
Diaspora.

reverend father Radmilo Stokic
introduced Their Royal Highnesses
with activities of sole educational
institution for Serbian children in
Denmark operating with the
assistance of Serbian Government,
and thanked Karadjordjevic Family
for their hospitality.
Children of our immigrants
visited both Palaces, and Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown
Princess Katherine gave their
