CROWN PRINCE CONGRATULATES SERBIAN NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM
Belgrade, 9 October 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown
Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to Mr. Xavier Clemente Team
Manager of the Serbian soccer
National team and to the team members for their victory over Belgium.
The next game will be against the national team of Armenia on Wednesday, 11
October.
“Please accept my warmest congratulations for your
success. This game brought much joy to the nation, and I hope that you will
continue to put efforts into making Serbia proud and to encourage the people
to believe that team spirit wins” – said the Crown Prince Alexander in his
letter of congratulations, and added that what made this success even
greater was the fact that this was the first time for the national anthem of
Serbia that “Boze Pravde” was sung at any international soccer match.
