HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION SENDS SERBIAN DOCTORS TO ROBOTIC MEDICAL CONFERENCE IN CYPRUS
Belgrade, 2 December2012 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine sent four Serbian doctors to the First International Congress in Robotic Surgery in Cyprus, thanks to the support of Dr. Konstantinos Konstantinidis, President of the Congress and one of the leading experts in the field of robotic surgery in Europe and close friend of HRH Crown Princess Katherine. The first Congress of the South-East European Robotic Surgery Association will be held at the Grand Resort Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus from 30 November to 2 December.
The doctors from Serbia who will be attending the Conference are: Dr Milan Dokic and Dr. Zoran Vilendecic, gynecologists from the Clinical Centre of Serbia, Dr Bojan Sekulic, gynecologist from the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Novi Sad and Dr Ilija Pejovic, surgeon at the First Surgical Clinic in the Clinical Centre of Serbia.
The Congress covers a wide range of topics in the fields of robotic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, surgery of the thyroid gland surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, gynecology and gynecologic oncology, otolaryngology surgery and urology.
Besides lectures by leading experts in the field of robotic surgery special workshops will be organized for the doctors.
This is just a part of continued effort of HRH Crown Princess Katherine to support education and training programs for the doctors in Serbia.
