Statement by The office
of HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II on the escalation of terrorism in
the south of Serbia and Republic of Macedonia
HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II expressed his deep concern about the escalation of
terrorism on the territory of south of Serbia and Republic of Macedonia.
No
political, ethnical or confessional reasons can be used as an excuse to
resort to the argument of blind violence that, as a rule, effects innocent
people whether they are unarmed civilians or members of forces of order and
defense forces.
Language
of hatred and policy of blackmail have already brought to the great tragedy
in this region and no one needs new “accomplishments” of that
kind.
HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II expresses his condolences and sympathies to the
families of murdered and injured policemen and solders. HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II also appeals to everyone to stop the practice of settling
personal or national political ambitions, plans and passions by the graves
of their neighbors.
What
nowadays the region of the Balkans needs the most is common work on the
realization of peace, protection of human rights and establishment of
democracy as the base of every progress.
HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II deeply believes that with patient and persistent
dialog it is possible to find and carry out the solution for peaceful life
of all the people in the Balkans, irrespective of their ethnical,
confessional or ideological background.
