ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS OF THE INDIAN AMBASSADOR’S
SPOUSE
Their
Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katarina attended
last night the opening of painting exhibition of Mrs. Indira Kumar, the
spouse of His Excellency Mr. Arun Kumar, Ambassador of India.
Painted
motives are mythological and the technique that is over two thousand years
old originates from South India. In the artistic coteries this technque is
known as tanjore painting and it implies the use of pure gold, semi-precious
stones and water colours.
Addressing
present diplomats and other guests, Crown Prince Aleksandar II said this was
great opportunity for all those interested to inform themselves about
traditional Indian art.
