Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine together with Mr. Dragomir Acovic, President of the Crown Council, Dr. Ljubomir Kostic, personal friend of HM King Peter II, were present for the presentation this evening at the Royal Palace of the book “Return of the King Peter II Karadjordjevic” by Mr. Jevdja A. Jevdjevic.

“Return of the King. Peter II Karadjordjevic” was written by Mr. Jevdja A. Jevdjevic, head of “Serbian Soko Association”, as all-inclusive publication that presents the life and work of HM King Peter II, together with documents related to art works, literature and Serbian traditional poems.

The book opens with a detailed biography and genealogy tree of HM King Peter II, and then cites the art works and literature devoted to HM King Peter II, concluding with traditional poems that follow his life since birth, through the tragic death of his father, HM King Alexander I, becoming a King and life in exile.

This book is especially important for its comprehensive overview by the author Mr. Jevdja A. Jevdjevic, and particularly for a great number of photographs, with some of them being published for the first time. The photographs are part of the private collection of Mr. Jevdjevic, while many of them come from collections of the Museums in Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Subotica, Zrenjanin, King Peter I Foundation in Oplenac, Archive of Yugoslavia, and many other locations.

The reception was attended by many guests in addition to H.E. Mrs. Mercedes Martinez Valdes, Ambassador of Cuba in Serbia, H.E. Mrs. Carmita Auria Vegas de Spalajkovic, Ambassador of Ecuador in Serbia, H.E. Mr. Vladimir Cusev, Ambassador of Belarus in Serbia, as well as representatives of the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Armenia.
