Children from the farthest Serbian enclaves from Metohija visited the Royal Palace today. During their visit they were given modest gifts that were provided by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine.
Fifty youngsters from Orahovac, Strpac, Gorazdevac, Velika Hoca and Ranilug who were guests of the Ministry of the Interior for the Day of the Police and MUP’s Slava visited today The Royal Compound. Whilst visiting The Royal Palace and The White Palace, and the Royal Park they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the historical cultural heritage of their country, and also to enjoy the beauty of the Serbian Royal Compound.
Although very happy and proud of their visit, due to prior business commitments abroad HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and HRH Crown Princess Katherine were not able to meet and greet the children from Kosovo and Metohija personally, but were still able to provide gifts for them in form of clothes, toys and sweets and thus increase their joy.
The Royal couple wishes to express their warm gratitude to Al Grosso company, as well as Lifeline New York organization, who have made the children’s day by donating them toys and candies, thus significantly contributing to the efforts Their Royal Highnesses are putting into development of the youngest generations from all over Serbia.
