CHILDREN’S EASTER MAGIC AT THE KONAK OF PRINCESS LJUBICA
Belgrade, 8 April 2004 – TRH Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended the opening of
the traditional children’s manifestation “Children’s Easter Magic”
today, organized by St. Marko’s Church and “Friends of Children
Palilula”.
Beside Their Royal Highnesses the celebration in
the beautiful yard of the Konak was attended by the Deputy Mayor of
Belgrade Mrs. Rebeka Bozovic. On behalf of the organizers, gathered
children and their teachers from Belgrade, Kosovo and Metohia and
Montenegro, the distinguished guests were greeted by the Chairman of
the “Friends of Children Palilula” Mr. Branislav Jovic.
The joyful children were addressed by the Crown
Prince who pointed out Easter is our most joyous holiday and added:
“I am convinced the eggs you paint today will
bring joy to other children to whom you will give them as your
present” and greeted them with the salutation “Christ is risen!”
After the opening ceremony Their Royal Highnesses
talked to the young ones and their teachers and assisted them in
painting the Easter eggs
