Crown Prince Alexander II and the Royal Family have close family ties to the Royal Family of Great Britain. HM Queen Elizabeth II is the godmother to HRH Crown Prince Alexander II, and his grandmother, HM Queen Maria, was the great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Their Royal Highnesses were guests at the wedding of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
