His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander officially opened the “Southeast Europe Innovation Summit“, as the patron of this conference dedicated to innovation and development. For all managers in the field of innovation, this is an opportunity for networking, creating useful business connections and launching of topics of great importance for business improvement, digitization, new technologies and investment in new businesses.

“Southeast Europe Innovation Summit is a great event, with the aim to initiate the dialogue on technological society development. That is necessary for the economic growth and progress of the south eastern Europe region, as well as for attracting new investments and fresh capital for the development of Serbia. I am glad that the representatives of state institutions, the European union, corporations, investors, academia and the start-up founders have gathered here today. I hope they will all contribute to raise the awareness of the start-up ecosystem development importance. We all have to present Serbia and the Balkans as a region that has many benefits for investments in this line of business. We have to keep pace with the world and bring our society in accordance with the most modern standards. On that path, you can always count on my full support”, said the Crown Prince in his speech.

The representatives of the most successful companies, institutions and brands spoke at the conference about the progress and technological development of the country and the region, while the European Startup Showcase presented the most innovative start-up company in Europe.
