CSIS GROUNDBREAKING CELEBRATION DINNER WASHINGTON DC
Washington DC, 11 May 2011. Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended last night in Washington
DC the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) Groundbreaking
Celebration Dinner. Their Royal Highnesses were invited by the board of trustees
of CSIS.
Former Senator Sam Nunn, Chairman of CSIS Board of Trustees
welcomed the guests. Their Royal Highnesses were happy to see many of their
Washingtonian friends including CSIS Counselors and Trustees Dr Henry A.
Kissinger (former United Sates Secretary of State), Zbigniew K. Brzezinski
(former United States National Security Advisor) and James R. Schlesinger
(former Secretary of Defense and of Energy and CIA Director). Their Royal
Highness also had the opportunity and pleasure to see their Greek friends Mr and
Mrs Lavrentis Lavrentiadis, who founded the Chair in Southeast European Studies
at CSIS.
Their Royal Highnesses arrived in Washington Tuesday and
return today to New York where they have commitments including the charity event
The Princes Ball II Friday 13 May.
