HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II AT
COMMEMORATION IN HONOUR OF MILORAD PAVIC
Belgrade, 17 February 2010 – His Royal
Highness Crown Prince Alexander II, together with Mr. Dragomir
Acovic, member of the Privy Council attended today a
Commemoration in honour of the late Academician Milorad Pavic, a
member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA) and
member of the Crown Council, at the SASA building in Belgrade.
Academician Predrag Palavestra, member of
SASA and member of the Crown Council, Prof. Dr. Jovan Delic,
Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Jerkov and Prof. Dr. Sava Damjanov spoke
about the life and work of Academician Pavic in a very inspiring
way. After receiving the news about Academician Pavic’s passing
away, HRH Crown Prince Alexander said: “Milorad Pavic was a good
friend and a very valuable advisor. His passing is a big loss to
our literature and Serbian culture, and a great tragedy for his
family and his friends”.
