THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE 32nd FAIR OF
TOURISM
Belgrade, 24 February 2010 –Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine attended today the official opening of the 32nd Fair
of Tourism at the Belgrade Fair. The Royal Compound is
traditionally presented at the Fair of Tourism in Hall 2.
The 32nd International Fair of Tourism was
opened by HE Mr. Mladjan Dinkic, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Economy and Regional Development. As a part of the
opening ceremony speeches were also delivered by Mr. Zoltan
Somodji, Executive Director of the World Tourist Organization
and Ms. Snezana Miljanic, Director of the Belgrade Fair. Also
present at the opening were: HE Mr. Wei Jinghua, Ambasador of
China to Serbia, Prof. Goran Petkovic, State Secretary of
Tourism, Mrs. Gordana Plamenac, Director of Touristic
Organisation of Serbia (TOS), Mrs. Jasna Dimitrijevic, Director
of Director of Touristic Organisation of Belgrade (TOB), Prof
Dr. Slobodan Unkovic, Dean of the Singidunum University.
The 32nd Fair of Tourism gathered 850
exhibitors from 40 countries. The general topic of this year’s
exhibition is the Danube River – river of European unity,
meeting point of different nations and different cultures. This
year’s partner country is Slovenia.
In cooperation with the Tourist Organization
of Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade and thanks to
the kind permission of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander
II the Royal Compound will be once again open for tourists from
1 April until 31 October 2010.
This year’s Fair of Tourism is a great
opportunity for domestic and foreign visitors to be introduced
to the historical and cultural heritage of The Royal Compound.

From Wednesday, 24 February to Sunday, 28
February visitors to the Belgrade Fair of Tourism can visit The
Royal Compound stand in Hall 2.
