HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR AT THE FORMAL
OPENING OF THE INTERNATIONAL FOOD, DRINKS, EQUIPMENT AND WINE FAIR
Belgrade, 4 December 2002 – HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II attended the
formal opening of the 29th International Food, Drinks and Equipment Fair
“Food 2002”, as well as the 10th International Wine Fair “The World of Wines
2002”.
After the meeting with general manager of Belgrade Fair Mr. Branko
Gligoric and Serbian Minister of Agriculture Mr. Dragan Veselinov at Hall II
of Belgrade Fair, Mr. Gligoric wished successful Fair to the exhibitors, and
Minister Veselinov formally opened the Fair.
Minister Veselinov said that through this Fair local and international
public will have the chance to see the quality of our food products and that
this the opportunity for 140 exhibitors from the country and abroad to make
new business arrangements.
“It is our interest to expand our market, through cooperation with those
who can help us with their expertise and resources. The Government of Serbia
will try to make our country the leader in export of plums, raspberries,
sunflower and soy in Europe, through a special program of fruit production
development and expanding of agricultural budget”, said Minister Veselinov.

After the ceremony of the opening, HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II called
