Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended an exhibition and lecture in the Serbian Orthodox Church of Saint Sava in New York organized by the Consulate General of Republic of Serbia in New York and the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral for 1700th Anniversary of the Milan Edict.
Exhibition and lecture “The Edict of Milan 313-2013, marks 17 centuries of religious toleration for Christianity in Europe”. As a part of this celebration there is included an exhibition “Vinimacium –Roman city and legionary camp as an archaeological park” by keynote speaker Professor Dr. Miomir Korac, Director of the Archaeological site Viminacium Serbia.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine were guests of honour and were warmly welcomed by the organizers and other guests.
The Edict of Milan legislation put an end to the historic persecution of Christians and its significance is of great international importance.
