Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended a reception “Tesla’s wonderful world of electricity” in New York City Wednesday evening, 10 July 2013 at the New York Hall of Science in Queens.

Besides HRH Crown Prince Alexander, who was one of key note speakers, guests were also addressed by Mrs. Mirjana Zivkovic, Consul General of Serbia in New York, and Mr. Vladimir Jelenkovic, director of the “Nikola Tesla” Museum in Belgrade.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander emphasized that he was very happy and proud about that the work and achievements of Nikola Tesla have been increasingly recognized not just in Serbia but also all around the world.

“The name of this great Serb is being mentioned more and more today, seventy years after his death, and it is becoming more and more an inspiration to those who shall inherit the world – the young people poised at acquiring knowledge, connecting people all over the world and solving problems together. I am very happy and proud because of that. I express my gratitude to the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Assembly of the City of Belgrade, Nikola Tesla Museum of Belgrade and the New York Hall of Science for organizing this wonderful gathering, celebrating the life and work of ‘the man who invented the 20th century” added the Crown Prince.
