WHITE PALACE RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF 6TH SYMPOSIUM
COLOPROCTOLOGISTS
Belgrade, 17 October 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted this evening a
reception in honour of the participants of the 6th International Symposium
of Coloproctologists.
The 6th International Congress of Coloproctologists is
organized under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander
II and takes place in the Sava Centre from 16-18 October.
The Crown Prince gave welcomed the participants and
pointed: “this Symposium is a remarkable opportunity to discuss the latest
results and to exchange experience. I would like to mention that since
October is the month dedicated to the fight against cancer, we lit the White
Palace with pink lights to support all the people that are fighting this
terrible disease.”
The Society of Coloproctologists of Yugoslavia was
initiated 12 December, 1997 in Belgrade. The Society was founded by a number
of enthusiasts with the purpose to improve treatment of colon and rectal
diseases and to provide an exchange of experience in diagnostics and
treatment, as well as to provide interdisciplinary access in diagnosis and
management of diseases of this kind.
