“The King’s Way” Monodrama, directed by Lilijana Ivanovic, had a premiere at the Royal Palace today. Vladimir Balascak was the actor, and the play is based on the book “My life, the autobiography of His Majesty King Peter II Karadjordjevic”.
“My father had a hard life, most of which was spent outside his homeland, far away from his people and his life’s greatest wish was to return home. I am grateful to Sabac theatre for staging this monodrama and I am certain that this monodrama will enable new generations to learn more about the life of my dear father, His Majesty King Peter II”, says Crown Prince Alexander.
This monodrama is a dramatized interpretation of the autobiography of His Majesty King Peter II and shows his taught about the events that marked his life as the last Yugoslav King, and as someone who was chosen by destiny and history to ascent to the throne as a boy, and to leave it now when he could have given a significant historic contribution.
