Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine together with their daughter Mrs Alison Andrews attended the panel discussion on the topic “Constitutional Parliamentary Monarchy in 21st Century Serbia“ at the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander opened the Panel with a speech on the importance of the Constitutional Parliamentary Monarchy as a form of governance.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Law School at the University of Novi Sad, Professor Dr. Ranko Keca.

Panel speakers were HRH Crown Prince Alexander, Dr. Cedomir Antic, Crown Cabinet member and renown historian from the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences and Dr. Miroslav Svircevic also from the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences. Kingdom of Serbia organisation President Mr. Bojan Starcevic and Mr. Aleksandar Miladinovic, President of the main board of Novi Sad branch of the Kingdom of Serbia Association also addressed the assembly. A presentation of a film on the work of the Kingdom of Serbia Association was also shown.

The Panel discussion addressed a public debate on the topic’s importance, cultural and historic influence of Monarchy as a type of governance in the world and its potentials

Also present was Dr. Milan Parivodic, member of the Crown Council, members of the Kingdom of Serbia Association as well as students from the Law Faculty of the Novi Sad University.
