On the occasion of the 8th March – International Women’s Day, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine hosted today at the Royal Palace a traditional ladies lunch for lady ambassadors, wives of high Serbian officials and the wives of the ambassadors to Serbia as well as for ladies from international organizations in Serbia. There were representatives from over thirty countries and organizations at the ladies lunch.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine greeted the guests and emphasized how important it was for our country that ladies from abroad who live here understand and support humanitarian efforts that have been implemented in order to help the most vulnerable in Serbia. The Crown Princess pointed out the importance of support of the ladies to the projects and activities related to the Women’s Health, especially Breast Cancer.

Furthermore, Her Royal Highness presented activities that her Humanitarian Foundation will implement in the near future, like the Autism Campaign that will be launched in cooperation with the United Nations and Association of parents with children with autism beginning of April 2013, as well as the project of Kindergarten construction in the villages throughout Serbia.
