£10,000 raised for children with autism in Serbia
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine are very proud to announce that Rebecca Pattinson achieved great success finishing first among women and 18th overall in Atacama Desert race and reached her goal by fundraising via http://www.justgiving.com/Rebecca-Pattinson1 £10,000 (Pounds Sterling) for Lifeline UK Humanitarian Foundation under the auspices of HRH Crown Princess Katherine in order to help children with autism in Serbia.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine are delighted with Mrs. Rebecca Pattinson great success and fundraising action. The Royal couple wishes to extend their gratitude for her fundraising campaign that gathered significant funds for helping children with autism in Serbia and thank all that supported her in this valiant achievement.
Her sponsorship campaign focused on children and families affected by Autism in Serbia, a lifelong developmental disability which, due to lack of understanding or proper diagnosis in Serbia has meant children were isolated from the world around them.
Pattinson ran six marathons in five days 250 kilometres long in the self-supported event across the Atacama Desert in Chile crossing terrain which was rarely flat and enduring the harsh climate and altitude that averages 2500 metres.
Rebecca Pattinson is a yacht broker with Ocean Independence based in Monaco. Previously she participated in “Racing The Planet: Nepal 2011”.
