Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine, Prince Peter, Prince Alexander and grandchildren of The Royal Couple Ms. Amanda Garfinkel and Mr. Nicholas Garfinkel attended a charity reception in New York in aid of Lifeline New York Humanitarian Organization whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
The special guests were His Excellency Mr. Vuk Jeremic President of The United Nations General Assembly and his wife Mrs. Natasa Jeremic, the Serbian Ambassador to the United Nations Mr Feodor Starcevic. Also present were the members of the Lifeline New York Board: Mr. David Hryck the Board President, Mrs. Cherry Kaufman, Mrs. Susan Gutfreund, Mr. Khashy Eyn and Mrs. Robin Dolch.
The event was organized with the help of Morgan Stanley that has since its founding in 1935 helped redefine the meaning of financial services and has continually broken new ground in advising their clients on strategic transactions, in pioneering the global expansion of finance and capital markets, and in providing new opportunities for individual and institutional investors as well as recognizing the importance of good governance and corporate social responsibility.
Lifeline New York works with the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, which was established in Belgrade in 2001, to improve the health and welfare of all those in need in Serbia regardless of religion or ethnic origin. Over the years, Lifeline has provided items such as neonatal ultrasound machines, mobile mammography unit, radiology training of medical staff, hospital beds with mattresses for children’s wards, devices for children with impaired hearing and computers for orphans.
