Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine and their daughter Alison visited the opening of the 40th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade. The Fair was officially opened by HE Mrs. Ana Brnabic, Prime Minister of Republic of Serbia, accompanied by HE Mr. Rasim Ljajic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, H.E. Mr. Elias Eliadis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Serbia, Mr. Sinisa Mali, Mayor of Belgrade, Mr. Andreja Mladenovic, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade and the ceremony was also attended by many representatives of Government of Serbia, diplomatic corps and distinguished guests from Greece, which is also the central theme of International Tourism Fair.
After the official opening, TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine toured several stands, including “Bean and Leaf”, company of their daughter Alison, which deals in processing and distribution of the world’s finest coffee as well as Royal Spring water, both products proudly made in Serbia.
Belgrade Tourism Fair is ranked as the largest tourist event in the country and Southeast Europe. Fulfilling the international business standards for more than 30 years, it has created partner relationships with its exhibitors, offering quality and various activities and attracting huge number of exhibitors every year. Last year, more than 880 exhibitors have been presented, while the number of visitors has exceeded 58 thousand. The international character of the event, which is attracting more exhibitors each year from all parts of the world, has been confirmed by more than 250 foreign participants from 43 countries.
