HRH Crown Princess Katherine received a Global Humanitarian Award for her dedication to humanitarian service and her tireless efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable people throughout Serbia and around the world, awarded by One World One Family Mission on a solemnity held in the Hofburg Imperial Palace, Vienna, on 8 June 2026.

Together with the Crown Princess, TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Vesna were also present at the events held in Austrian capital as part of the One World One Family Festival. On the first day, held yesterday, One World One Family Changemaker Awards Ceremony was held, honouring institutions, foundations, and individuals whose work contributes to positive social changes and humanitarian advancement. The evening brought together individuals and organisations who dedicated their lives and resources to the service of those in need. The awards recognise achievements in different fields including healthcare, education, nutrition, social welfare, art, and culture.

“Our work has always been guided by the belief that suffering knows no boundaries, and we are helping everybody, regardless of their ethnicity or religion. Every human being deserves care, hope, love, dignity, equal chances, understanding, and compassion. With the help of wonderful supporters of Lifeline, we have supported hospitals with essential medical equipment, provided life‑saving surgeries for children, and given equipment to schools and homes for children, but most importantly – we showed those in need that they are not alone. That there is somebody who loves them and cares for them.

This evening is about the awards. I must mention that the greatest award anybody can receive is the knowledge that one has made a difference, that lives have been improved. It is something that gives you energy and inspiration to continue your path. The warmth, trust, and respect I have received from the people of Serbia has strengthened my dedication to continue my mission.  Most of all, it was the love I received from them, because without love, we have nothing. This is why the One World One Family Mission feels so close to my heart. Its commitment to serving all people without discrimination — to seeing the world as one family — reflects the very vision that has guided my work and the work of all the people who supported me since its beginning. I am deeply moved by the scale of Mission and its Founder’s humanitarian initiatives, and by the sincerity with which they bring people together across nations and cultures”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine in her speech.

Crown Princess Katherine also served as a member of the international jury responsible for selecting the other award recipients. As the Royal Family’s position requires to keep the spirit of neutrality and impartiality by refraining from comparative assessments of humanitarian and charitable endeavours, Her Royal Highness awarded the highest mark equally to all nominees, as a gesture of uniform recognition and appreciation for the outstanding work carried out by each of them.

Their Royal Highnesses were on this occasion accompanied by Professor Dr. Afksendiyos Kalangos, worldwide recognized and honoured expert cardiac surgeon, and a longtime friend of the Royal family of Serbia.

Founded by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, the One World One Family Mission is an international humanitarian initiative guided by the principle “Love All, Serve All.” Through numerous projects and partner organisations, the Mission supports free healthcare, education, and nutrition programmes for underserved communities, while promoting compassion, service, and global solidarity. The organisation’s activities are inspired by the concept that humanity constitutes one global family united through care for others and selfless service. With a focus on innovative, inclusive, and replicable models of service, the Mission aims to restore dignity, hope, and potential to millions of lives. By transcending barriers of geography, race, and economic status, it creates sustainable impact and encourages a global community of compassion and care.

On the second day of the One World One Family Festival, on 9 June 2026, Their Royal Highnesses will attend the start of the educational part of the Manifestation and will be patrons of the event on this date, which is dedicated to Serbia and Greece.
